Soft Pastels are a remarkable tool for creating beautiful artwork. I started using pastels as early as junior high school. Soft Pastels are made with pure pigment with a binder material to hold them together. It is one of the purest colors that you can use.

Pastels allow me to use my fingers, paper stumps blenders or whatever I need to achieve wonderful blends of color.

The use of Pastels dates back as far as the sixteenth century. Artist such as Degas, Bonnard, Toulouse Lautrec, Renoir and many more have used this medium as a tool for creating beautiful artwork. Today Pastel paintings can be found in some of the best museums in the world.
